Meet the CEO

Pamela Ott, R.N., MHA,
Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Ott has been with the District since June of 2007. Before coming to the District, Ms. Ott was the Chief Executive Officer (2003-2007) at Kern Valley Healthcare District (101 beds) located in Lake Isabella, California, where she guided all activities of that district and its health facilities. Ms. Ott previously was the Director of Acute Care Services (2001-2002) at Delano Regional Medical Center located in Delano, California, where she provided leadership to a staff of 240 nurses. From 1996 to 2001, Ms. Ott served as Chief Executive Officer/Superintendent of Public Health Care Services for Public Healthcare District Number Two of Pacific County, in Ilwaco, Washington. Ms. Ott was also the Chief Executive Officer at Ocean Beach Hospital (25 beds), located in Ilwaco, Washington, from 1993 to 2001, where she was in charge of the overall management of that hospital.

Ms. Ott received her Associate of Arts degree in Nursing in 1970 from Fresno City College and her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Health Care Administration degrees from Kennedy-Western University in 2000 and 2001, respectively. Ms. Ott is affiliated with the Washington State Hospital Association, the Nursing Officers of the California Healthcare Association and the Community Health & Safety Network of Pacific County.
