Laboratory

Sierra Kings Laboratory is a full-service, 24-hour clinical laboratory serving surrounding rural communities. We provide a full range of routine and specialized tests required to meet the needs of our patients. We accept test requests from all health care providers. Specialized procedures not performed at Sierra Kings are referred to specially selected reference laboratories.

Sierra Kings Laboratory is staffed by state licensed, qualified Clinical Laboratory Scientists 24 hours a day. The laboratory is licensed by the State of California and is JCAHO accredited. Our staff is also complemented by state certified phlebotomists, who collect and process all specimens. In addition to our emergency department and birthing center, we also service five rural health clinics.
