Radiology

Radiology Services include five distinct services all staffed by licensed technologists and provided 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

A doctor's order is needed for radiology services. Examinations requiring patient preparation are scheduled through the radiology office. Examinations not requiring preparation can be performed during normal working hours.

SERVICES AND ACCREDITATION:

• X-Ray: Diagnostic exams
  
• Ultrasound examinations: Include abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, OB and GYN procedures
  
• Computerized Tomography (CT): Examinations of the head, neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis.
  
• Mammography: Accredited by the American College of Radiology and certified by the Food and Drug Administration regulated by the Mammography Quality Standard Act (M.Q.S.A.)
  
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Our New State-of-the-Art CT Unit

Siemens Somatom Emotion 6-slice Computerized Tomography unit is one of the most advanced radiologic technologies in the South Valley. This scanner is designed to produce optimum image quality with the lowest possible radiation exposure.

This CT unit allows us to offer our patients a new world of information for themselves and their doctors. Examinations performed with this CT unit are done with less radiation and take very little time.
